Good full breakfast. Well stocked bar. Location of hotel. Friendly staff who liked to have a laugh and joke with guests.

Friendly staff.
Disappointed with the quality of the room for the money paid. Blankets and sheets are old fashioned , need updating to duvets. Curtains hanging off the rail and wall paper peeling off walls, damp patches in bathroom and toilet.

The staff on the hotel are very friendly and very helpful. Living in this hotel is much than living at B+B no matter the budget or comfortable.

Breakfast was good with a decent choice and the host was quite a character
Our "Budget Twin " room smelt of damp, as did the bathroom due to the extractor not working. The room was not particularly clean and the walls were very thin. At a cost of £59 for the night it was quite cheap but for the same money a Travelodge or similar would be a better bet.

Pleasant staff, nice breakfast, adequate room with all of the standard facilities (en-suite, TV with Freeview, tea and coffee facilities)
Situated on top of a large steep hill, quite a way from the Town Centre

Good food, friendly & helpful staff, comfortable bed, good atmosphere, Basil Fawlty (Graham) is alive and well!
The decor is a bit tired and the hotel is a steep walk from the promenade.

Staff friendliness without being in your face, very helpful and obliging, would certainly consider going again.
Location as we are senior citizen and found the hill tiring. However we could have used taxis.

What a lovely place, the staff were really friendly and we left the hotel as friends with all intention of going back, constantly asking if we were okay checking we had everything we needed. Room could be cleaned at our convienience. There was a great sense of value for money and the hotel felt like a home from home, every 2 out of 3 customers we met were regulars that came back once or twice a year. 10/10

Breakfast was ok, , view was lovely , but only through a small window..
Room was dated , and damp on wall, paper coming off wall.. Bedding needed a wash.. one very small bar of soap, we felt we'd been mislead and were dissapointed on arrival..
